What's your story before Skåne Startups?

Growing up in India, I earned my Master's degree in Marketing and Finance, and had the opportunity to study Digital Marketing during a semester abroad at the Rennes School of Business in France. This experience sparked my interest in networking and connecting with others.

In 2019, I began my professional career in the Ed-tech industry, where I held various positions including sales manager, product specialist, and customer success specialist over a period of three years. I am passionate about both education technology and customer success growth. In 2022, I married and relocated to Malmo, Sweden with my husband, who had been working here for over six years. During this time, I made the decision to upskill myself and took courses in Marketing, as I have a love for continuous learning and expanding my knowledge.

Why did you want to work for Skåne Startups?

Being a part of Skåne Startups allows me to expand my professional network and connect with a wider range of individuals in Sweden. My background in the startup industry, having worked for two companies in my home country, has driven me towards a career in the startup ecosystem with a focus on sustainability. I feel fortunate to be a member of this community, where I can both learn and grow alongside my team members. I am Currently working as a Communications and Marketing coordinator at Skåne Startups.

What is your advice for other talents?

Embrace your authentic self and pursue your passions and aspirations. Never cease to learn and dream big. Sharing knowledge is a powerful asset and can be acquired through expanding your network and connecting with others. Above all, exhibit kindness towards others.

Something you are unreasonably passionate about?

In a professional setting, my focus is on customer success and sustainability goals. However, I also have a passion for dancing to Bollywood and classical Bharatanatyam music in my leisure time.
