What's your story before Skåne Startups?

After graduating with a degree in Accounting from Zimbabwe, I worked in the accounting field in finance, hospitality, energy, and the tender industry in different parts of Africa. After working in this field for five years, I decided it was time to change my environment. This led me to apply for a two-year MBA in Sweden, which I started in 2021 where I came across Skåne Startups, and the rest is history!

What was your role at Skåne Startups?

Main duties included but are not limited to researching and analyzing about startups; interviewing founders and creating original reports about the startups; updating and maintaining the startup database, and building relationships with other startup ecosystem partners and relevant investors.

What did you enjoy the most at Skåne Startups?

I enjoyed working with a cheerful and open team. I always looked forward to talking to my team, even outside work, because they all had great energy.

Can you tell us about your current work?

I am currently an SAP Finance support at Lynk & Co. My duties include supporting SAP clients within the organization with queries they might have regarding the SAP Finance package.

What is your advice for other talents?

I would advise talents in the tech community to continuously expand their network, especially within their desired area of expertise.

Something you are unreasonably passionate about?

Being the best version of myself in every situation I encounter.
